ABC's of a Mouse

I saw this floating around some of the blogs that I read and thought that this looks so fun!
I would LOVE for you to join in and do this too!

{A} Age: 36 (as of yesterday)
{B} Bed size: King
{C} Chore you hate: Cleaning the bathrooms and putting away laundry
{D} Dogs: Beagles and Golden's...but really almost any will do!
{E} Essential start to your day: Coffee...the perky does not kick in until I've had my first cup.
{F} Favorite color: Any...really...I'm not persnickety.
{G} Gold or Silver: Again...NOT persnickety
{H} Height: 5' 3"..but I tell everyone 5' 4" :)
{I} Instruments you play: I about to give up on playing the guitar.  I'm trying to learn but I am starting to think someone with small hands like myself was not meant to play...so sad. :(
{J} Job Title: Executive Mother :)
{K} Kids: 2 girls, 2 boys and 1 husband...he really is my biggest child. :)
{L} Live: Texas.  I wasn't born here but I got here as fast as I could!
{M} Married: It will be 16 years this June.
{N} Nicknames: Tim call's me Laurda Mouse...my children call me the women who ruins my life on a daily basis.
{O} Overnight hospital stays: 4 children
{P} Pet peeve:  Hmmmm....I don't think we have enough room here for me to list them all.  So lets just graze the list.
*People who talk with food in their mouth
         * People who drive like they have their heads up their butts
         * People who think I have no clue how to raise my children...yes I know I'm messing them up
mentally...that was what I was trying to do!
         * People who can't take a joke
         * People who take themselves so seriously
         Okay...just a grazing....
{Q} Quote:  Do yo have to be famous for someone to quote you??
"I did it not because I knew I could....but because I thought I couldn't"
{R} Righty or Lefty: I write with my right...dance with two left.
{S} Siblings: I have one brother...who is adopted as well.  I have 4 half sisters that my (biological) mother has with her husband and who knows how many my (biological) father has.  Have never found him.  I'm certain he is hiding from me....:)
{T} Time you wake up: I wake at 5:40....I get out of bed at 6:20 during the week.  Sunday's up at 7:00. Saturday is my sleep in day and I get to sleep to 8:00...that is is the children fighting does not wake me up first.
{U} University attended: I'm going to be honest here.  I would love to lie to you and tell you I went to some grand college...but I didn't.  I married Tim when he was in college after we had dated 5 years and I was raised being told I was not smart enough to go to college.  My mother would tell me there were kids who had brains and then there was me. :)  The day after High School graduation my mother handed me the want ads and told me rent was due on Friday.
{V} Vegetables you dislike: Does beans count???
{W} What makes you run late: I don't run late...I hate running late.  I detest running late.
{X} X-Rays you've had: toes and knees.  Did you know you can break you baby toe??
{Y} Yummy food: FOOD...I mean ANY FOOD...except Indian.
{Z} Zoo animal favorite: Hey...I don't pick favorites I love ALL my children!!

  2. I love this list. I have broken both of my baby toes and I want to break your mom's for telling you what she did when you were a kid. So very very wrong.

    1. I walked around on the toe for 3 days and finally my mother took me to the urgent care...I remember the doctor telling my mother that you can't break a baby toe. Makes you wonder where he got his MD...I mean hello...there is a bone how can you NOT break it. To this day slip and slides make me nervous. :)

  3. I laughed out loud when I got to your Z line. That was so cute! I'm sorry your mom said that to you. That's harsh, inexcusable and, most importantly, wrong!

  14. I saw you reply to a post earlier on about breaking your baby toe and walking on it for 3 days. I didn't break my baby toe but my index toe? you know the one next to your big toe...what is that called? lol. My family didn't believe me when I was like I think I broke it. I also walked around on it while it was severely swollen for about 3 days before they took me to a walk-in clinic. Now that toe looks funny. lol.

  15. I don't know if my comment posted or not... I was just saying how I had a similar experience as you with the broken baby toe but mine wasn't the baby toe. Well I hope this comment posts.

  25. I also have small hands and wondered if guitar playing just isn't for me. But my sister, who is exactly my height, so I would assume has similarly sized hands, can play pretty well. There is hope for us after all!

  26. Refreshingly amusing, though the uni thing makes me sad. I'm getting my PhD in history and work as a teaching assistant, and it bugs me when I see parents that don't give their kids a one-semester chance and just write them off. I hope that, if you do have any desire to go to college, you eventually do so, no matter what people think.

  27. I love your answer they crack me up.

  28. I hate putting away laundry too. And doing it in general.

  29. How cooL!! I've also done lists like this. They're super fun!

  30. Fun. I used to love laundry until I met my husband. He's bizarrely particular for a male and I refuse to fold his clothes. And your mother was nuts to tell you shouldn't go to college. I was raised the opposite. High school graduation was hardly noticed. College graduation meant being taken out to dinner and maybe a gift. Go to graduate school, then you've done something. We heard every day, "When you're in graduate school..." I didn't even know not going to college was an option, but I'll bet you know a lot of things I don't.
