So What Wednesday

I can't believe it's already Wednesday...I think the holiday on Monday threw me off.

I am joining in the link up fun with Shannon over at Life After I Dew.

So What Wednesday

So What...

1.  This week is already half way over and I really haven't marked one darn thing off of my to do list.   This isn't looking good for Friday.

2. The other day during a marathon Lego building day I heard bickering coming from the loft.  Apparently someone was hogging all the parts...except the problem was not one of the children it was my husband.  I had to give him the talk about sharing nicely with others when we play. Should I have sat him in the corner too??

3. I think the mice in the attic are mocking me.  The poison is all gone yet I hear scampering still...does this mean I have the "something else" the Lowes guy talked about or maybe my mice just have a tolerance built up for the poison???

4. While in the attic I found a small tote of Legos hidden.  I washed those suckers up and gave them to the kids.  Besides the people who lived here before are long gone and there was no way I could have found them...not to mention that their kids are past college age.  It was liked Christmas in January!!

5.  I am ready for summer.  I am so seriously done with this cold weather and am ready to have pool time. I even considered turning on the pool heater to go swimming...it's the getting out of the pool into that cold weather that convinced me NOT to do it.

6. I keep looking at this giant window in our "office/formal living room" and know I want to do something to it but have no a single clue on what to do.  HGTV where are you???  Do you make house calls??  Like interior decorators crash this house please!!!

7. While brushing my teeth one morning I tore off a corner of the wallpaper in our bathroom.  It's on our list of things to do.  Then I started pulling a section off about the size of a person....but now I look around our bathroom and see how much MORE paper needs to come down and am really regretting pulling that one damn piece off.

Thanks so much for stopping by and reading my so what's.  If you are new to my blog please look around and if you find yourself laughing at anything I would love for you to follow along.  If you have time send me an email saying hello because I would love to get to know you...I'm a little crazy that way! :)

  2. That's so great!! I LOVE it..mice in the attic!! I feel like I have been spending more time there hunting for mice then in the kitchen. I actually sat in the attic in the dark the other day with a flashlight waiting to see what was in there...never heard anything...actually scared myself to death wondering what I would do if it was truly "Something Else" and not a mouse!!

  3. I laugh every time I come to your blog! Do you really know how funny you are??? LOL

And come down to Florida, I see people in their bathing suits on a daily basis. Since we just moved here last summer it still seems kinda weird to me....I always want to say "Dont you know it is January" but some days it is beyond hot so I get it..I guess~ =)

    1. OM Gosh..you have no idea how much you made me smile. I am almost never considered the funny girl. I mean seriously at Tim's works open house I made a joke and then after a few seconds realized I was the ONLY ONE laughing.

I was swimming suit shopping today....then I ate some chocolate chip cookies. Its so a self esteem issue..or the lack there of. :)

      Thanks for reading!

  5. We had a mouse (or possibly rat) at work and I swore up and down that it was Mighty Mouse. Dang thing would eat the poison like it was chocolate and continue on his merry little way like nothing was happening.

  6. I hope that your mice is in fact mice. It may be time to get traps instead of the poison if they don't quiet up sometime soon. =(

  7. Seriously summer cannot come soon enough! Heck I'd even settle for 60s and 70s at this point! ANYthing is better than these frigid temps we are having right now! I can't take it!

  8. I would probably complain every time I went into the bathroom, but the wallpaper would still stay that way for a year. ha.
