I was thrilled, to say the least, when I was contacted to review an amazing pair of Active Sunglasses. What was even better then being sent a pair was being told that I can also give one away to one of my readers. I spent some time on the phone with my contact. She asked me a million questions and then presented me with the glasses that she said would fit me, my face and my activity. She matched me with a pair of Oakley Warm Up glasses in an Asian Fit. Now I will be honest with you I have never heard of Asian Fit. It is the term to describe a design that is specifically made for those of us who have problems with glasses sliding down our nose, touching at your temples or your cheeks. Since I had told her I tend to have to push my glasses back on my face this was the perfect design for me.
When I got my glasses I wanted to lace up and go for a run right then...sadly I was not able to. But I did try them on...of course I looked down and shook my head to see if they would fall off and they stayed perfectly in place. Then the next morning it was time for my run. I reached for my glasses wondering if this was going to work out. I should let you in on a little secret...I sweat...I mean like OH MY don't touch me sweat. I never wear sunglasses because they literately slide right off my face. Then I end up having to carry glasses in my hands while I run..which is so aggravating. I planned on a medium run...nothing short but nothing too long....I didn't want to have to carry sunglasses in my hand if that was what was going to happen. I made sure to pay close attention to how they fit while I ran and I am pleased to say I love them. They stayed in place, they didn't slide one single time and I didn't feel like they were squeezing my head to stay in place and they didn't get all gross feeling . The lens are designed with a curvature so you aren't left with a blind spot which is very important when running, even more so if you are running on a busy road. The frame was super lite and at one point I even forgot I was wearing them. The ear pad is even designed so it didn't mess with my ear buds.
Now it's your turn. Enter to win a consult of your own. You will be asked a series of questions and matched up to your perfect fit.
